So maybe think about changing some of the unseen construction elements. That then allows the lower portion of the skirts inner layer to be seen and keeps the upper waist area more controllable in terms of constraints. A simple fix is too create a waistband that extends down below the top layer gathering and sew the lower skirt to that edge at a lower point where the build up of 2 layers is no longer an issue. In MD you need to think through some of the construction simulation issues and say to yourself - if you don't see it > do I need to simulated it? Often the answer is no because you are simply quadrupling your simulation time steps, so it's often better to make a pattern edit and get rid of elements that don't get seen in your final animated garment. Where you have two layers of cloth tightly elasticated in simulation areas you may also need to either increase the fabrics simulation distance collision offset (or reduce it) and if that does not help you may need to get rid of the layer under the waist band in the area of pleating/elastication so it simulates better. Or that you have the sewing angle set to pull the cloth down - maybe check the waist band sewing angle and then also think about getting rid of two layers of cloth on a tight waist. Make sure in your stress 3D view that you do not have the cloth too tight on the upper layer at the waist. You say layers are assigned correctly ? Did you read my post about resetting both layers for the garment to layer zero after a successful CPU simulation at best quality ? What can be the reasons for this to happen? I have no idea what it can be, i tried all i could think of, so i would really appreciate any help or suggestion on this matter. When tried one fabric at a time, it bleeds through itself. When tried two fabrics layered (with different layers assigned in the properties), they bleed through each other. I also tried changing the particle distance, and the fabrics keep clipping on any value from 5 to 30. As for me it's quite low poly, but what you think, should i use even more low poly avatar or should i use a high poly avatar? I dont think it's an issue of a small avatar: I measured the avatar, and it's around 1860mm, imo it should be enough, but i dont know, do i need to make the avatar bigger or smaller in this case?Īt first i was using an avatar that was about 200k triangles, but then i made the avatar around 24k triangles, but the fabrics were still clipping through each other. The fabrics not only stick to each other, but also to themselves, no matter the layer and particle distance. I attached pictures to illustrate the problem. Hi! I'm having issues with fabrics bleeding/clipping through/sticking to each other.
